Andy Warhol (1928-1987) A 20^th-century American visual artist most famous for his leading role in the pop art movement. Warhol is best known for his work ‘Campbell’s Soup Can’, which was created as silk screen paintings. Warhol also worked in cinema and photography. Through his work Warhol wanted to break down the divide between what is and isn’t ‘art’.
